The Brocade SilkWorm is a cost-effective way to bring 1Gbps fibre channel connectivity to the enterprise. These fabric switches support seamless connectivity to FC-AL and full-switch fabric configurations. The Silkworm 2800 comes with 16 universal ports and 100 Mbps full duplexed line speed. These fibre switches have swappable, redundant power supplies and cooling fans for increased availiabilty, and they are very durable.
