Deze krachtige 2U rackmount-server is door ons volledig nagekeken en schoongemaakt en verkeert in perfecte staat. Het apparaat wordt geleverd zonder originele handleidingen of software maar is op de Dell website prima gedocumenteerd. Een rackmountkit wordt niet standaard meegeleverd, maar kan onderaan dit item direct worden meebesteld.

The R805 is Dell’s 2-socket platform designed for virtualization solutions leveraging the full benefits of external storage environments. Featuring up to 128GB of memory, the R805 enables more robust applications to be hosted on a single server. This memory and processing power is coupled with I/O scalability to support broad bandwidth for iSCSI or fibre channel storage environments. This balanced combination allows organizations to cost-effectively scale their hardware to meet the demands of memory-bound applications such as Microsoft® SQL®, Microsoft Exchange® Server 2007 and many others.

The R805 features include 2 AMD Opteron™ quad-core processors, up to 16 DIMM slots, 4 I/O slots, 4 embedded NICs, internal I/O fabric options, 2 hot-plug hard drives, hot-plug redundant power and cooling, optional embedded RAID, optional advanced remote management and choice of embedded hypervisor.
